Fenix by Doskiwis Brewing is a low-alcohol IPA (0.4%) with a tropical character. You can taste pineapple, lime and apricot, with a light bitterness and a soft malt flavour. Brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Motueka and Simcoe hops. Fresh, drinkable and surprisingly full of flavour. Brewed in Belgium, but Spanish in origin. A good choice if you fancy an IPA, but don't want to drink alcohol.

Doskiwis Brewing Co is a small, independent brewery from Rupià in the Empordà region (Catalonia, Spain), founded in 2016 by New Zealander Michael and Catalan Judit (two Kiwis). Since opening their taproom in 2019, they have been brewing modern, flavoursome craft beers – from hazy IPAs to stouts and pilsners – using local and international ingredients. Their DIY ethos and focus on quality and sustainability stand out. Their location in a former barn between the Pyrenees and Costa Brava offers a characterful setting for visits and tastings.
