Dead Man's Hand from Het Nest Brewery is a striking low-alcohol stout that demonstrates that dark beer can also have character without it: deep black in color, with full flavors of roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, and a hint of vanilla, without becoming sweet or thin. While many non-alcoholic beers remain safely in the blonde segment, Het Nest deliberately opts for complexity and depth. The result is a serious stout with a creamy mouthfeel and a mature flavor profile, suitable as an alternative to a classic dessert beer.
