Brasserie Popihn is located in the quiet village of Vaumort, in the heart of the beautiful Yonne region, about twenty kilometers from Sens. The brewery is housed in a barn next to the family farm, surrounded by a vast estate of over 900 hectares. In 2017, founder Arnaud Popihn decided to brew the beers he enjoys most himself: hoppy, full-flavored, and with many fruity notes. Together with his friend Gunther Oltra, he worked on recipes for years and drew inspiration from other brewers. This is how the first Popihn beers came into being, such as the Icauna Pale Ale. The brewery is now known for a wide range, from IPAs and Stouts to Sours and spontaneously fermented beers with long maturation.
