Brasserie du Bocq is an independent family brewery from Purnode, in the Belgian Condroz. Its history began in 1858, when farmer Martin Belot started brewing beer in the outbuildings of his farm during the quiet winter months. Since then, Du Bocq has grown into one of the larger independent breweries in Wallonia. The brewery is best known for its characterful Belgian specialty beers, including Blanche de Namur and La Gauloise. Today, the family business is owned by the Keersemaekers family, known for Corsendonk.
