Lindemans Brewery is a Belgian family brewery located in Vlezenbeek (Flemish Brabant). The brewery specializes in lambic beers, a traditional Belgian beer characterized by its spontaneous character.
Lindemans' origins date back to 1822, when Joos Frans Lindemans married Francisca Josina Vandermissen, the daughter of a brewer. They settled on the 'Hof ter Kwade Wegen' farm in Vlezenbeek. Initially, lambic was brewed to keep the farmers busy during the winter. As demand for beer increased, the farming activities were scaled down and the brewery expanded. Today, the brewery is run by the sixth generation of the Lindemans family: cousins Dirk and Geert Lindemans.Properties
