This Nuchtere Blauwvinger from Brouwerij Allema is thirst-quenching, deliciously floral and a bit fruity. And with a nice bitter hop taste. In other words, a mature IPA. Blauwvinger is the nickname of the Zwolle residents of whom the story goes that they sold a clock to Kampen and were paid in stuivers, after which they counted their fingers blue.

Brewery
Brouwerij Allema is an upcoming craft beer brewery from Zwolle, founded by Joost Allema and his brother Jasper. Joost started brewing at a young age, inspired by chemistry classes and experiments in his student room. In 2020, the brewery was officially founded, initially working as a contract brewer from kettles of other breweries. Since 2023, they have been brewing from their own sustainable brewery in Zwolle, with solar panels and a capacity of 500 liters per batch.
The beers from Brouwerij Allema often have a unique character. Their range includes fantastic names, such as Allema Nakomertje, Goed Huwelijk and Broers Bier. Innovation and quality are central, and they continue to experiment to surprise beer lovers.
