Derived from the "classic" Non(nette), this IPA has been added with a ginger flavor. That gives him a funny twist that is welcomed in varying degrees. From very tasty to "not necessary".
Like the Non (net), this Ginger is made with three types of grain (barley, oats and wheat) as was customary in Haarlem in the past. The addition of ginger is reminiscent of ginger beers which, usually without alcohol, can be very invigorating.

The Jopen brewery, since 1994, has started to revive the old beer tradition of Haarlem. During the 750th anniversary it was first again Heap beer brewed.
