Budweiser Budvar is a Czech brewery in the city of České Budějovice. In German, the city is called Budweis, which means a Budweiser is actually a beer from Budweis. The brand is often confused with the American Budweiser, but that brewery was established much later and chose the name as a tribute to this fantastic Czech beer.
