VandeStreek BH aan de Waslijn (Bra on the clothesline) owes its name to a bad joke about alcohol-free beer. As lame as the joke is, this Pilsie is fantastic (as the label itself says). It's one of the trickiest beers to make deliciously alcohol-free, but the guys at vandeStreek have succeeded. Fresh, clear, and crisp. So sit back, relax, and enjoy.
They themselves say about it:
BH aan de Waslijn was created as a protest. Not against people, but against ideas that have been floating around for too long. Modern brewing, different yeast, better hops, tighter fermentation—all contribute to creating beers that can be fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly full-bodied. This beer is the first experiment in a pilsner alternative. Light, clear, sharply bitter, and exactly the refreshing character you're looking for when you don't feel like drinking alcohol but still crave flavor. No watery mess, no "this will be good for someone who doesn't know any better" attitude, just a good non-alcoholic pilsner!
