Sandford Red Zero is an alcohol-free cider made by first fermenting a full-bodied cider and only then removing the alcohol. As a result, it retains body, freshness, and that characteristic cider bite. In the glass, you get fresh apple notes, a light sweetness, and a dry, clean finish, without leaning towards apple juice. Made from traditional cider apples such as Dabinett and Sweet Alford. This is not a compromise product, but a serious alternative for those who normally drink regular cider, but without alcohol.

More info
Sandford Orchards was founded by Barny Butterfield, a cidermaker from Devon (England) who more or less “accidentally” stumbled into the trade. What started as a hobby in a barn grew into a serious cider factory, established in 2002 and still family-run.
Butterfield is known for its uncompromising focus on real cider: working with traditional cider apples, long fermentation, and aging for maximum flavor.
His approach combines craftsmanship and scale: they now produce millions of liters per year, but always with the same focus on quality and origin.
In short: this is not a marketing-driven brand, but a cider maker built on craftsmanship.
